1. SCOPE
The following technical specification describe the minimum requirements needed to supply,
mounting and startup of the filter cabin for the exhaust system of the varnishing machine in the
API Line in the SPIJ facility.
2. DESCRIPTION OF FILTERS
The information include in this point shall be considered as a reference, and it is the
responsibility of the contractor to perform the calculations for the selection of the filter and fan
required to this application according to the information provided by PT.X
In addition, after the equipment selection by the vendor the equipment shall be approved by
PT.X previous the purchase of the equipment.
The scope of the contractor includes Provision, assembly, start-up of Cabinet with filters for
the aspiration of Varnishing process, with the following characteristics:
• Lower frame with support legs in painted, which acts as a plenum chamber.
• Air inlet
• Filter Air Flow max. 14,000 m³/h (8,250 CFM), VOC content such out properly and not
impact with product quality.

o As separate additional option the supplier should offer eventually filter
system needed to guarantee the respect of the VOC limits as per
Annex 3 and according to annex 4
• Main body panels with plate for the support of filter units and access hatch to replace
filters
• The main filter (HEPA H13 filter) as main filter must have filter efficiency with minimum
requirement according PT.X procedure is 98%. Reference filter type:

Note:
The change of filters should not exceed 10 minutes, the vendor shall indicate the time
needed for this activity, as well as the estimated lifetime of the filter.

The basic design above (Figure 1) only reference, If the seller their have own design with
similar concept, they can propose new concept with agreement from PT.X and fulfill
Local Regulation.

3. The system must have differential pressure gauge between the faces of the filter elements
(one for the pre-filter stage and one for the filter stage) to allow the detection of dirty filter with
"dirty filter" value to be determined by supplier, and with a value of "filter absence detection"
below a value indicating the absence of a filter element.

duct from painting booth to inlet that will be installed in a new industrial building of PT.X

The duct contractor will provide all the supervision, materials, tools, workforce and the necessary
equipment in order to do the job under the high standards known. Any exception will be specifically
mentioned and will be matched with drawings and support documents.
All the ducts most be manufactured and installed in order to be hard and rigid structure, free of
apparent deformations between supports. All the ducts most have transversal separators or flanges,
except in the use of isolating rigid cover.
If the contractor opinion says that part of the ducts should have wind bracing or additional tensors,
because of vibrations or malfunctioning, he shall provide and install the wind bracing or tensors required.
The cost, including patched, and repair for isolation or painting should be responsibility of the contractor,
everything executed to the complete satisfaction of the client.

4. ENVIROMENTAL CONDITIONS
The parts thereof are stored and handled in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. The
parts have to do with all accessories as specified in the equipment data sheet.
The parts have to do with the plates attached to the manufacturer's place, the model no., the
serial number.
7. OBSERVATIONS
As a reference and subject to the evaluation resulting from the calculations by the contractor, the
filter cabinet should cover the needs according to the information provided. This information is
indicative for the execution of basic engineering and should not be used in any way for final
dimensioning in the execution of detailed engineering.
For this purpose, the calculations required in point 2 must be executed. Therefore, it is the total
and absolute responsibility of the contractor to perform the calculation of the suction
system, for the selection of filters and sizing of the cabinet, this will be endorsed by PT.X
via email to receive an OK to manufacturing and / or construction.
Inspections
During the manufacture process of the equipment, the following inspections and tests are carried
out:
➢ Control of dimensions according to the approved plans and tolerance standards.
Testing
Prior to the functional tests it will be verified that:
➢ The installation is complete in every detail, material and equipment.
➢ The execution of the works in accordance with what was contracted in the purchase order
and with the rules of the art in the matter
Functionality test
➢ The tests will be carried out for 3 days. With these tests, it must be checked whether the
internal conditions match those indicated in the guaranteed data sheets.
➢ The supplier must supply all the necessary equipment to carry out tests, as well as the
consumables.

The equipment warranty period will last 24 months from the date of the provisional reception
certificate to THE END OF THE WORKS, that is, once the entire works system has been completed
and received in compliance.
During the period from the start-up of the equipment, until the end of the 24 months indicated, the
supplier will correct, repair, replace or complete, as the case may be, immediately at its own cost
and risk all defects and Damages that arise, caused by materials of inferior quality, defects in the
design, manufacture, construction, assembly or others until the equipment or teams comply with
the contract conditions.
