MEETING, INCENTIVE, CONVENTION AND EVENT (HTT251)

SEMESTER OCTOBER 2022 - MARCH 2023

CONTINUOUS ASSESSMENT

Test (CLO1/PLO7) : 10%

Group project (CLO2/PLO2) : 30%
Teamwork (CLO3/PLO5) :10%
Final exam (CLO1/PLO7) : 50%

TEST
1. Test - Cover Chapter 1 to 4 of the syllabus (Week 6)- 30 marks (convert to 10%) and
consist of True and False (TF) and Multiple Choices Questions (MCQ) only.
2. Test will be held at ANY platform that will be decided by the lecturer.
*Note: refer to Perlaksanaan E-Res document for marks distribution.

Group project (Organizing an event)

1. A group project that requires students to plan any online MICE events. Students can
choose any from MICE events such as seminars, forums, clinics, workshops,
cssssssssss etc.
2. Rubric for conducting event 40 marks (convert to 30%)
3. Submission: Latest by Week 11

TEAMWORK
1. Students may work on a team to complete a meeting event (such as a seminar, clinic,
forum, symposium, congress and etc). Furthermore, the student who works with is
likely to be different in each of these situations. This rubric is designed to work across
all these different settings.
2. Rubrics for teamwork evaluation are as follow:
a. Communication
b. Interpersonal Engagement
c. Group Decision and Planning
d. Roles and Distribution
e. Establish Goal
3. Full marks 20 (convert to 10%)
4. Submission: Latest by Week 11

FINAL EXAM
1. Final Examination will cover all Chapters of the syllabus (Chapters 1 to 8).
2. Total will be 100 marks and converted to 50%
3. Final Exam consists of True or False (TF), Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), Short
Questions, and an Essay.
4. Final Exam will be conducted as scheduled by the HEA Examination Timetable
