Dear Sir,
Warm Greetings:
I am writing on behalf of my client, LLOYD S. ANTONIO, of Block 27 Lot 2 MKC Salon
and Spa Saranay Homes Subdivision Bagumbong Caloocan City who came to the
undersigned and sought legal advice and assistance on what appears to be a clear case of
ESTAFA/Violation of Batas Pambansa Bilang 22 (Bouncing Checks Law) which you
have committed to the damage and prejudice of my client in the total amount of TWO
HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS ONLY (Php 200,000.00).
According to my client, the checks you issued were dishonored for the reasons “ACCOUNT
CLOSED.” The checks has the following details, to wit:

Despite repeated verbal demands you refused and still refuses to settle or pay the face value
of the aforesaid check, that is, the total amount of TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS
ONLY (Php 200,000.00). Thus, formal and final demand is hereby given for you to pay the
amount of TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS ONLY (Php 200,000.00) within a
non-extendible period of seven (7) days from receipt hereof, otherwise, and much to our
regret we will be constrained to file the necessary criminal and civil case, as may be
warranted by the facts and evidence, to protect or enforce the rights of my client.
In addition, you are obliged to pay seven (7%) percent interest for every due check.
Please take this matter seriously.
