Applications are invited from qualified and eligible candidates for filling up of
the post of Management Trainees (Accounts) on contract basis for a period of
two years and can be extended based on the performance evaluation. The
candidates are required to work in APTransco/Vidyut Soudha/Vijayawada and
three Zonal offices (i.e., Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Kadapa) and anywhere as
directed by management.

1. Name of the PSU : Transmission Corporation of Andhra Pradesh


(Public Sector Undertaking) Limited, Vidyut Soudha, Vijayawada.
2. Company Profile : APTransco was incorporated under the Indian
Companies Act, 1956 as wholly owned State
Government Company. The Company is presently
engaged in Transmission of power and activities
related to Grid operations, Transmission
Management, Projects, Technical Subjects etc.
3. Name of the post : Management Trainee (Accounts)
(on contract basis)
4. Number of posts : 60 nos.

5. Qualification : CA/CMA(ICWA) Inter passed.


6. Age : Age not below 18 years and not above 34 years as on
01.07.2023 and relaxation of upper age limit
permissible upto 5 years for SC, ST & BC candidates
and 10 years to the Physically challenged
candidates.

8. Application/Examination Fee : i. Applicants under General category should pay
Rs.500/- + 18% GST i.e., Total Rs.590/- towards
application/ examination Fee. (Applicants belonging
to SC/ST/BC Communities and PH are exempted
from paying these fees).

ii. Candidates belonging to States other than Andhra


Pradesh will be considered in general category only
and are required to pay the above-prescribed fee.

9. Selection procedure : Written test (MCQ-80M) and Interview (20M)

10. Eligibility criteria :


He/she should have completed Articleship from a
certified CA/ICWA firm.
11. Preference : i. Will be given to the candidates having work
experience in Public Sector undertakings.
ii. Should be able to work in SAP environment and
Microsoft applications
12. Period (Tenure) : Two years period (on Contract basis). After expiry of
contract period based on the performance
evaluation, the board will examine and decide the
extension of tenure.
13. Consolidated remuneration : Rs.27,400/- per month only
14. Description and : i. Accounting of Transmission, Network charges,
Responsibilities of the post contractor bills and other related activities including
bills verification and processing.

ii. Responsible for analysing and reconciling


Accounts, generating reports, preparing
correspondence.

iii. Works assigned relating to finalisation of


accounts.

iv. TDS, TCS, PF, ESI, PENSION fund and GST a)


payment advice generation b) preparing data for
filing of returns c) accounting d) Reconciliation

v. Preparation of monthly MIS reports.

vi. Any other works as entrusted by higher officials.


15. Submission of application : i. Applicant can apply for job through online

ii. APTRANSCO under any circumstances will not


entertain the information if any furnished by the
candidate sub-subsequently. Applicants should be
careful in filling up the application form at the time
of submission. If any lapse is detected during the
scrutiny, the candidate will be rejected even though
he/she comes through the final stage of recruitment
process or even at later stage.
16. Place of work : To work in Accounts wing in Corporate office, AP
Transco/Vidyut Soudha/Vijayawada and three Zonal
offices (i.e., Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Kadapa)
and anywhere as directed by the management.
17. Date of submission of : The Online Registration will available from
application 20.10.2023 to 05.11.2023 at APTransco website.

18. Instructions:

 The engagement on contract basis shall be for a period of two years only. After the
expiry of contract period basing on the performance evaluation, the board will
examine and decide the extension of tenure.
 The engagement is purely on contract basis and shall be terminated with one
month notice on either side during the term of agreement.
 They will be paid fixed remuneration of Rs.27,400/- (Rupees Twenty seven and
four hundred only) per month. He/she is not eligible for any allowances.
 To collect 2 months’ salary if the candidate leavesthe organization within engaged
period.
 They should submit the original certificates relating to qualification, Age, caste,
Physical fitness certificate, and Contract Agreement for verification by the AP
Transco, Vidyut Soudha, Vijayawada.
 The candidates appointed under this shall not be regarded as member of service in
AP Transco and shall not be entitled by reason only of such appointment to any
preferential right to any other appointment in that post or in any other service in
future.
 The appointment now ordered is subject to verification from concerned university
/institute on the correctness of educational qualification and other information
submitted by the individual. If any information found false, his appointment will
be cancelled & further action (as per Dept. procedures) shall be initiated.
 The individual once selected, should not be engaged in any other organization.
 Incomplete applications shall be summarily rejected and representation on
correspondence regarding such rejection shall not be entertained.

19. Check List:

ii. Attested copies in support of Age, Qualification, Nationality, Caste, P.H and
conduct, Aadhaar Xerox.
iii. Experience & performance certificate (certificate to be enclosed).
iv. Conduct Certificate duly attested by 1 No Gazette officer
v. Enclose certificates of merit/achievements, if any.
vi. In service applicants should submit the application through proper channel along
with “No objection Letter” from the Controlling Officer/ Head of Department.
