Interitus

 Undying
“Grasping  branches  from  the  otherworld  shall  be  thy  end”
–Standard  Interitus  future  telling
Interitus  seems  like  a  normal  imperial  world  when  first  you  reach  it  but
soon  you  will  start  to  notice  strange  things.  The  people  seem  very
superstitious  and  fearful  and  many  grasp  prometheum  shells  in  prayers
while  large  walls  and  great  fortifications  surround  the  graveyards  on  the
planet.  As  the  sun  sets  each  door  is  shut  and  barred  and  not  a  soul  can  be
seen  outside.  This  is  when  they  come,  long  since  dead  trees  walking
towards  the  settlement  where  they  search  for  any  unfortunate  who  leaves
his  hearth  and  home  in  the  twilight  hours.  They  are  malign  beings  fuelled
by  the  warp.
Their  creation  is  believed  to  be  linked  to  the  chaos  sorcerer  who  was  burnt
on  the  world  500  years  ago  and  who  cursed  it  with  his  last  breath.  No  proof
can  be  shown  for  this  however.
These  undead  trees  are  not  completely  impossible  to  slay  but  they  are  hard
to  defeat  and  often  attack  in  large  groups,  heavy  flamers  are  suggested  to
those  that  do  wish  to  fight  them.
