    The Marine Department of Malaysia has issued Notice to Mariners (NTM) 50(T)/2017 to advise of a marine geohazards survey being conducted by Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd in the South China Sea from August 7th to 17th, 2017. The survey will take place near Gansar-2 and Bekok-A and be performed by the research vessel RV Java Insignia. Mariners are asked to navigate with caution and avoid the survey area which encompasses positions between 040 40.347’ N 1050 12.468’ E and 050 26.020’ N 1050 13.116’ E and is referenced to the WGS-84 datum

    Mariners are advised that Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd is conducting marine geohazards
    survey at Gansar-2 and Bekok-A, South China Sea. The details are as follows:
