DO & DON’T
Inspect the scaffold before use to
ensure it is in good condition and has
been set up properly.
Use a secure and stable ladder or
stairway to access the scaffold.
Maintain a clear and unobstructed
work area on the scaffold.
Secure materials and tools to prevent
them from falling or sliding off the
scaffold.
Ensure guardrails, toe boards, and
safety nets to prevent falls from the
scaffold.
Follow safe work practices, such as
maintaining three-point contact when
climbing or working on the scaffold.
Don’t overloading the scaffold
beyond its weight capacity.
Always use full body harness with
100% tie off.
Don't use a scaffold that has not
been inspected or is damaged in any
way.
Don't overload the scaffold with
materials or people beyond its
weight capacity.
Don't work on a scaffold that is not
fully assembled or is missing
components.
Don't use a scaffold during inclement
weather, such as high winds,
thunderstorms, or heavy rain.
Don't modify or alter the scaffold
without the manufacturer's approval
or a competent person's guidance.
Don't use a scaffold that is too high
for the work being performed
without proper fall protection.
