MATRIZ DE SEGUIMIENTO ACADÉMICO

STEM
Professor María José Hurtado Subject Biology Grade 10th Term 1

The STEM field of knowledge at Gimnasio los Andes links the areas of mathematics, natural sciences, technology,
and computer science, fostering synergistic integration in such a way as to favour learning and disciplinary
knowledge.

Given the above, we would like to inform you of the academic monitoring matrix that will be used in the subject
and with which we hope to favour the learning process of the students, as well as the joint home-school
accompaniment.

PARAMETERISATION OF ASSESSMENTS AND LEARNING ACTIVITIES ON THE INTRANET:

The assessment of the subject is given through the weighting of three comprehension goals and their learning
product. These will be socialised and given by the teachers within the didactic units.

EVALUATION PROCESS PERCENTAGE WEIGHT

Understanding goal 1: 25%
Understanding goal 2: 25%
Understanding goal 3: 25%
Learning product 4: 25%

The assessment of goals 1, 2, and 3 are associated with a weighting of workshops, quizzes, evaluations, reports,
and laboratories, among others. On the other hand, the assessment of the learning product refers to what has
been worked on within the comprehension goals, which will be given from a quarterly activity. Also, behaviour and
punctuality will be worth 5% of the final grade (take into account the class rules).

The activities that will be carried out this first trimester can be seen in the monitoring matrix showed below:
