Account Freezing Order Application - £59,782.14 held in Wise Payments Ltd

On Wednesday 8th March 2023, an application was made to Lincoln Magistrates Court requesting
they grant an Account Freezing Order in respect of the accounts held in the name of Mylindra Ltd
with Wise Payments Ltd. The outcome of such was that they granted the order, thus allowing the
account balances to be frozen for a period of 12 months under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002. A
copy of the order is enclosed for your reference.

This order is only to freeze the account balance for 12 months. It is not an order for its forfeiture.

A copy of the order could not be delivered to the registered address of the company as it was
invalid.

Lincolnshire Police Economic Crime unit have conduct of the enquiry relating to the funds held
within the account and you are invited to contact me or Senior Financial Investigator Nicki Crawford,
directly or via your solicitor, to give us your explanation for the origins of, and intended use for, the
account balance.

You will be asked to provide verifiable evidence to support your assertions and possession. If you
have any such documentation and are prepared to supply it to us then we would recommend that
you do so at your earliest opportunity. We are happy to receive any documents by email or by post
to the contact details shown at the bottom of this letter.

If you are unable to provide any evidence as to the legitimacy of the funds, it is likely that
Lincolnshire Police would apply to the Court for its forfeiture in the future.

I enclose a form, which provides a number of options in respect of how you may wish to proceed. I
ask that you consider the various options detailed on the form, mark your intentions accordingly,
supplying any relevant additional information or documentation, and return it to me within 28 days.
