This weekend is the Gion Festival. Many people from the US and China, etc come to see the
Gion Festival. Kyoto is an ols town, therefore, there are many Ryokan. Ryokan is an old
Japanese-style hotel. One wears a yukata (summer kimono) and sleeps on a futon. Usually one
eats breakfast and dinner in their room. Menu is Japanese cuisine, such as fish and miso soup.
There is no more room in the Western style hotels therefore, please stay at a Ryokan.
