Ans life does not exist on moon because
1. It has no usable form of water.
2. It has no air.
3. It is a silent place as no medium for sound is present.

Q2. How much will you weigh on the moon if your weight is 42 kg on Earth?
Ans The gravitational force of moon is one- sixth of the Earth’s gravitational force.
If weight of a person is 42 kg on the Earth ,on moon the person will weigh
( ⅙ x 42 ) = 7 kg.

Q3. Why do astronauts explore the space?

Ans Astronauts explore the space
1. To collect more and more information about the space.
2. To know life outside the Earth.
3. To study the composition of Earth’s atmosphere.
