We studied the unit All About Me, in which students learned about the parts of their body, country of origin and family members. We also studied
the unit Where Can Different Animals be Found, in which students learned about animals, colors and words about movement. Additonally, we
introduced the celebrations of Mid-Autumn Festival, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas through songs and rhymes.

Comments:

Hanna is an attentive listener. She understands oral classroom directions and follows them well in class. She is good at repeating simple
expression and sentences. Hanna is able to use familiar words, phrases and simple sentences to express herself. A goal for Hanna is to practice
what she has learned in Chinese whenever possible.

Hanna has excellent fine motor skills and strong design strategies.
She is a confident artist. Recently in art class she was able to
develop an excellent observational sketch during our study of
patterns in leaves, applying that to both her drawing pen and
paintwork.

Hanna is a poised music leader! She is highly responsive to music


listening and excels at moving expressively to tell a story. She is a
strong ensemble member who sings with a lovely voice. She
successfully plays short xylophone melodies and follows music
maps. She is a pleasure to teach!

PHYSICAL EDUCATION
