 Good morning everyone, my name is Lorena Rojas, today I am going to
summarize one of the speeches that I have heard, and in short it has marked me and
I liked it a lot, which is the speech that Bts presented in the Assembly of the ONU.
This speech which Kim Namjoon, RM of Bts gave, talks about self-love, the vision
we have about ourselves and about self-esteem. How important is public opinion
and approval of who we are sometimes? What do we think? How do we act? And
what do we want? It is a difficult and complicated subject to deal with, however
this speaker conveyed his opinion on it objectively and understandably.
He named a bit about him in the speech, saying that he came from a small
town in Korea called Ilsan, who grew up like any normal boy his age, as well as
pointing out that when he was younger he was very insecure and hidden his true
self and feelings. to be able to fit into its environment.
Finally, Namjoon said that loving us should be the most important thing for
us, that we wonder who we are? and that we try to find the answer to this question
by being honest with ourselves.
Kim Namjoon wanted to convey through his story and moving speech that
even for his person it was very difficult to accept and love himself, he said that it
takes a long time but that it is possible, that the moment we clear our mind of the
comments of others of people and focus on ourselves, we must create and trust
who we truly are.
For me, this speech and the message that he conveyed was very beautiful
and meaningful, being a fan of Bts, his motivational words are very valuable. Not
only RM has been an example for me, but also the rest of the members of the
group because they are a great inspiration and all their behaviors and ways of
thinking are original, most of the lyrics of their songs speak about themes.

 I particularly am a person who loves herself a lot, I consider myself a good
person and I try to be kind to my family, my friends and to other people, of course
there are times when I feel a bit insecure and intimidated by people. people's
opinions, but I always try to persist in the good things I have to offer before the
bad. The message of loving yourself I consider that it is one of the most beautiful
that exists.
Self-love is fundamental to life, not only because it is important to develop
as we really are, but also because if we do not love ourselves we will never be able
to love others.
There was a short moment in my life in which I did what others expected or
wanted me to do, I did not like it at all because I was not really the one who
behaved in such a way, fortunately I managed to abandon that path and for a while
I behave, I speak and I am how I want to be.
I hope that this speech can be heard by many people, know how to ignore
the malicious comments of people who only want to criticize us and hurt us, can
love and love themselves, and that in the future we can all be such and as we really
are.
