present. Thus, it is necessary to have money to have electricity, which is why human power is

vital in our society soon. Unlike solar and wind energy, the human ability to have electricity is

always available. No matter the time of day, season or place, people will have electricity because

of human power. Human power can be a clean source of energy, unlike fossil fuels. The potential

of human power increases as the human population increases. According to the study (Bo et al.),

the energy from the human body can provide a reliable source of energy that is safe, eco-friendly

and not blocked by space and environmental state. The energy source is long as life is as long as

the human is still alive.

Human Power to generate electricity is something that couldn't find at this time or can be found,

but only some people use it. Yet, Human Power is useful for generating electricity soon since

human power has the application of the first law of thermodynamics, which states that energy

neither be destroyed nor created. Conservation of energy that happens when using Human Power.

According to LaBonta (2014), the planning to change human body heat into electricity has been

a process for scientists for years. For example, from Forbes, body heat turns to electricity enough

for heart rate monitors and watches. This thermoelectric device is behind turning body heat into

valuable energy such as electricity. The thermoelectric device applies energy conservation, like

getting the body heat to gain electricity.

In getting energy, or called thermal energy, from the human body (Bo et al.), the thermoelectric

effect and pyroelectric effect are what thermal energy depends on. These two types of thermal

energy can be a collector of the heat from the human body to change it to electricity. Though, the

thermoelectric effect and pyroelectric effect work in different ways since they are corresponds to
their own generator like thermoelectric effect works on thermoelectric generator while

pyroelectric effect works on pyroelectric generator. The thermoelectric effect depends on the

spatial temperature difference for energy conversion, unlike the pyroelectric effect, which

depends on the temporal temperature difference (Bo et al.). These two have their applicable

situations and specific forms when getting thermal energy from the human body (Bo et al.).

Moreover, they both generate electricity. Thermal energy can be converted into electrical energy.

According to the study of Bo et al., the natural energy conversion factory is the human body. The

nutrients like fat, protein and other absorbed nutrients will be converted into other energy

substances stored in the human body, like lipids, amino acids, etc. The other part of the nutrient

will be converted into adenosine triphosphate (ATP). The ATP works to maintain normal

physiological functions and life activities. The energy consumed and released has three different

forms of energy flow: mechanical, chemical, and thermal. This energy will be a potential source

of energy.

When getting electricity that gets to the human body’s thermal energy and is converted, it can be

used as the power supply for some low-power electronic devices. Thus, PEG and TEG have

some pros and cons. Here’s the following table studied by Bo et al., from the PEG and TEG:

generator is much higher cost and harder to build. Futhermore, thermoelectric generator has a lot
of pros than cons.

Moreover, human power as an energy source is efficient and clean. People will quickly generate
electricity if human management can be used. Because of corruption, people will not use
batteries, fossil fuels, and other things that cost millions. This will end the struggle to obtain
clean energy since human power is not emit toxic substances. Getting an energy source will be
easy if the population increases as human ability depends on the people.

The only problem that could face human power as a source of energy is that scientists are still
developing this process. Also, people are new to this kind of energy source. It can have
problems in the near future, such as building new inventions that require human power. Lastly,
the companies that run the world. Most of them use different energy sources, so they will need
help changing them. Human power is something that new for most people in the world and
might like the idea as human power as to their energy source.
