TOO and NOT ENOUGH

1. Too + adjective/adverb + to Verb: mang nghĩa phủ định

Examples:
young
The baby is too old to walk. (The baby can’t walk).
You are 15. You are too young to vote. (You can’t vote).
You’re too short to reach the ceiling. (You can’t reach the ceiling).

2. Too + adjective 1/adverb 1 = not + adjective 2/adverb 2 + enough
adjective 1/adverb 1 and adjective 2/adverb 2 are contrast in meaning
(tính từ 1/trạng từ 1 và tính từ 2/trạng từ 2 ngược nhau về nghĩa)
Examples:
too far = not near enough
too high = not short enough /not low enough
too expensive = not cheap enough
too hot = not cool enough
too hard = not easy enough
too slowly = not fast enough
too carelessly = not carefully enough
