Water Quality Guidelines:


The following tables indicate PCIPE water quality guidelines for various duties. We
recommend that the customer consult with their local water treatment company for advice
on water treatment and maintaining / cleaning re-circulated cooling water systems

Note:
High purity water should also be used when charging the plant with MEA. The water should
contain less than 100 ppm total dissolved solids, 51 ppm total hardness, 2 ppm chlorides, 3
ppm sodium, 3 ppm potassium, and 10 ppm iron.

Operational Data: In order to establish routine maintenance schedules and provide rapid
trouble shooting aides, a log sheet of operating conditions should be kept. The following
information should be recorded at least once every 8 hours.
