An inspection carried out for M.V Electrical Cable for Substation 92&93
Location:
Building#E-01 & Building#1A
Inspection Result:
There is M.V Cable, which is Connecting Substation# 93 & 92. Existing cable is 15 KV, 3x185 mm2
CU/XPLE/STA/PVC, IEC 60502-2 & Cable length is 850 meter in front of bldg. (1A, 13, 10 and 9)
Mentioned cable have been welded/ Jointed three times in different portions located near ( 9, 10 &
1A) the latest damage is the fourth one in front to Royal gate.
Recommendation
No any Additional Joints Advisable, which causes Losses in Cable and Reduce Efficiency, Existing cable
size is not sufficient to take the demanded load nor future loads therefore we recommend replacement of
mentioned cable with upgrade to its size to 33 KV 3x240 mm2 CU/XPLE/STA/PVC, IEC 60502-2 or
33 KV 3x300 mm2 CU/XPLE/STA/PVC, IEC 60502-2
