Adjectives

 An adjective is a word that describes a noun or a pronoun.


 Adjectives usually comes before the noun or pronoun they modify.
 Adjectives answer :
 How many?
 What kind?
 Which ones?

Examples

1. Tom bought a used car. (used describes what kind of car Tom bought.)
2. Sally baked ten pies for the school bake sale. (ten tells how many pies Sally baked.)
3. Bob climbed that tree in the backyard. (that specifies which tree Bob climbed.)
