The floating tube stack design heat exchanger and oil coolers comprise straight-length
tubes connected at each end by expansion or welding. The tube bundle is designed Blue Arrow cold Stream
with baffles to ensure that the shell side fluid is decreased and flows evenly over all of
the tubes for the best thermal performance. The headers or water boxes at each end
are designed to either allow one pass flow through the tubes or, one end is blanked off Orange Arrow hot stream
to cause a two pass flow through the tubes.

Material :
Floating Head Heat Exchanger

Floating Head :
Tube sheet: Stainless Steel (such as SS 304 or SS 316) -
Stainless steel offers good corrosion resistance and
mechanical properties, making it suitable for a wide
range of applications. And color red black
Floating Head Shell: Carbon Steel (such as ASTM A516
Grade 70) - Carbon steel provides good strength and is
commonly used for floating head shells in various
industrial applications.
Flange: Stainless Steel (such as SS 304 or SS 316) -
Stainless steel flanges offer corrosion resistance and
mechanical strength, ensuring a reliable joint.
Tubes:
Copper and Copper Alloys: Copper or Copper-Nickel
Alloys (such as Cu-Ni 90/10 or Cu-Ni 70/30) - These
materials have excellent thermal conductivity and
corrosion resistance, making them suitable for various
heat exchanger applications.
Gaskets and Seals:
Elastomer Gasket: Nitrile (NBR) - Nitrile gaskets offer
good sealing properties, and chemical resistance, and
are suitable for a wide temperature range.
