BRIGADA ESKWELA

Magtolis Briones, provides that Brigada Eskwela Activities shall focus on the collaboration and
strengthening partnership engagements that complements DepEd efforts to implement the Basic
Education-Learning Continuity Plan (BE-CLP) and to ensure the delivery of quality basic
education notwithstanding the Covid-19 pandemic.Briones said in her message during the
national virtual kick-off program last August 7,” we will continue with the education in the time
of imperfect situation and unpredictable environment.”
Amid the surge of the COVID-19 pandemic, the “Brigada Eskwela” Program was
implemented last August 03- September 30 with the theme “Bayanihan para sa Paaralan”.
We, at Paulino Dari National High School joined hand in hand to collaborate and to
strengthen partnership with our stakeholders despite the situation today. As we know that the
maintenance of our school is the primary purpose of Brigada Eskwela. With the initiative of our
School Principal III,Quirino A. Paitan Jr. together with the School Brigada Eskwela
coordinator,Joel M. Jala to get ready for the opening. The school calls for unity, solidarity and
uplift the spirit of volunteerism in this threatening pace in education.
Through the approval of our Municipal Government-Rural Health Unit (RHU),the school
conducted information drive (communication letters to stakeholders) through different social
media platforms without staking the safety of our stakeholders and implementers. We ensure to
comply and follow the local quarantine rules, social distancing and other precautionary
measures.
We sent partnership letters to LGU’s, BGU’s, NGO’s and to private individual to look for
other resource fund. National Schools Maintenance Week or known as Brigada Eskwela invites
volunteers in the school community in preparation of the opening of classes nevertheless of the
NO Face to Face classes. The school implemented schedule for volunteers needed per day.
Among the activities were physical cleaning of the school, concreting two (2) blocks of
perimeter fence, repairing pathway, replacing mini fence (bamboo sticks to concrete fence) ,
drilling of the second water source, disinfecting of rooms and constructing of the new landmark.
We record daily accomplishments to submit reports as early as the given schedule.
We have been fighting for the COVID-19 and It might be impossible but it made possible
through the efforts of every individual (stakeholders, teachers and other volunteers) that is called
“bayanihan” who willingly and actively participated and made this Brigada Eskwela successful.
