12. In a seminar, the number of participants in Hindi, English and Mathematics are 180,252 and 324
respectively. Find minimum number of rooms required, if in each room the same numbers of participants
are to be seated and all of them being in the same subject.

13. HCF and LCM of two numbers is 9 and 459 respectively. If one of the numbers is 27, find the other
number.

14. 2002 cartons of Lassi bottles and 2618 cartons of Frooti are to be stacked in a store room. If each stack
is of the same height and is to contain cartons of the same types of bottles, what would be the greatest
number of cartoons each stack would have?

Case Study:
To enhance the reading skills of grade X students, the school nominates you and two of your friends to set
up a class library. There are two sections- section A and section B of grade X. There are 32 students in
section A and 36 students in section B.

Based on above information, answer the following questions:

1. What is the minimum number of books you will acquire for the class library, so that they can be
distributed equally among students of Section A or Section B?

2. If the product of two positive integers is equal to the product of their HCF and LCM is true then, the
HCF (32, 36) is

3. Express 36 as a product of its primes.

4. State whether the given number 7 × 11 × 13 × 15 + 15 is a prime or composite number. Justify your
answer.
