My name is Krystal Angel and I have known Melina Nazario for about 3 years. She was a student of mine
at El Capitan High School, where I am a Mathematics teacher. This is a position, in which I have held for
over 10 years, and two years elsewhere.

I am writing to recommend that you consider Melina Nazario for any or all scholarships in which she
meets requirements. In my few years of experience, some individuals stand out for their great qualities
and Melina is one of those people. She is well known for her determined, respectful and ambitious
personality. She is well respected throughout the classroom as a student who is on time, helps out, and
is always working harder to better herself. She always makes it a point to communicate any problems
and always asks for assistance if she is faced with difficulty.

Melina plans to major in Liberal Studies and become either a History or PE teacher. She has a big list of
possible colleges. She also plans to get her Masters when she is done with her B.A.

Melina holds a 3.8 GPA. She has played softball at the Varsity level all four years. She is currently also
playing flag football and has played competitive travel softball.

In summation, due to her great attitude, dedication, and excellent potential, I would heartily
recommend that you accept Melina Nazario for any and all scholarships so that she can further her
education and reach her goals. I am sure that she will not let you down.
