My name is Krystal Angel and I have known Samantha Methvin for about 1 year. She is a student of mine
at El Capitan High School, where I am a Mathematics teacher. This is a position, in which I have held for
over 10 years, and two years elsewhere. I also teach Senior Seminar and have taught this course for 2
years here at ECHS.

I am writing to recommend that you consider Samantha Methvin for any or all schools she applies for, or
scholarships in which she meets requirements. In my few years of experience, some individuals stand
out for their great qualities and Samantha is one of those people. She is well known for her ambitious,
creative and generous personality. She is well respected throughout the classroom as a student who is
on time, helps out, and is always working harder to better herself. She always makes it a point to
communicate any problems and always asks for assistance if she is faced with difficulty.

Samantha Methvin has her heart set on a Business major and would like to become a real estate agent.

Samantha has a 3.38 GPA, is striving for all A’s this semester and did cheer her freshman year. She
currently works as a florist and has since Sept 2023.

In summation, due to her great attitude, dedication, and excellent potential, I would heartily
recommend that you accept Samantha Methvin for any and all colleges or scholarships so that she can
further her education and reach her goals. I am sure that she will not let you down.
