Mr. Adam Joseph: Grade 6 Social Studies and Science

Mr. Joseph is proficient in the Arabic, Spanish, and German languages, and he has
traveled and taught on various continents. This presents a wonderful opportunity for
our students to have a teacher who can enrich them not only in learning a second
language like English but also from many other perspectives, thanks to his journey
through different countries.

Mr. Joseph holds a postgraduate degree in Higher Pedagogy and has International
Certification for English teaching. In his professional career, he has individually
published 6 academic papers and collaborated on 38 group publications to date.
Additionally, he has accumulated more than 1500 hours of voluntary service through
the Global Teacher Program in organizations of great worldwide recognition, with the
Minute of God Foundation being particularly noteworthy.

Mrs Juliana Grades 10, 11, & 12 Spanish

Mrs. Rodriguez's career spans over 25 years in the educational field. She is an
experienced professional who has left an indelible mark in classrooms ranging from
primary to secondary education. Her expertise extends across various facets of
education, including teaching humanities, natural sciences, and Critical Reading.

Mrs. Rodriguez has smoothly transitioned between roles, serving as an Academic and
Convivencia Coordinator. Notably, she has played a crucial role in preparing senior
students for the challenging ICFES Exam, demonstrating her commitment to
academic excellence. In addition to her extensive practical experience, Mrs.
Rodriguez holds the distinguished title of Pedagogue, further solidifying her
dedication to the field of education.

2. NEW Schedules: Keep in mind on account of two new staff members and a few
changes the schedules have been changed. All the links below have the new

3. ALL ACCOMMODATIONS UPDATED: Teachers MUST submit, at least once a

Term, an account of what accommodations have been done with any student who
has a PIAR in Phidia.

4. Staff Absence: If you have a planned absence to fill out the Staff Absence form two
days before the date of the absence. In the case of an unplanned absence, please call Dr.
Morgan (301 546-2505) and send your lesson plans for the day to secundaria@lasis.edu.co,
and fill out the Staff Absence Form and Subs activities.
