 Abstract
Mount Galunggung is one of the volcanoes that are in west Java,in precisely
linggajati village, sukaratu district, the city of Tasikmalaya. Mount Galunggung
rises 2,168 meter above sea level, with its highest peak of Canar Beuti and an
altitude of 2,240 meter above sea level.

To reach the top of Beuti Canar and crest of Ari's Wall allow passage through
the path already available, while reaching the crater lips allows it to travel
through some 620 rungs.

In the area of mount galunggung has some tourist attractions and an area of
[120 ha] under the management of the perhutani plant. The other object is a
hot bath that has an area of about [3 ha] complete with a hot tub, bath and
bath.

1.1. Introduction

The tourist in the Galunggung mountains isat present in its subsidy. Vast
Numbers of tourists from all over the world come to view the scenery and
even search for a sacred place. Because there are still a lot of people who
believe that there are some places that have a good point.

In the text of this report I formulated some famous tourist attractions, history
and several facts about mount galung. However this place is still busy with
tourists, especially after 2 years of lockdown, many of the pilgrims or even the
sights are presented there. Mount Galunggung is one of the places to visit in
the eastern province of Java.

There are major tourist attractions that are frequented by tourists, where this
place has its own beauty, such as:

- Galunggung Crater

- Cipanas (hot spring)

- Curug (waterfall) Agung Galunggung

- Viewdeck Galunggung

2.1 Background

In today's era, there are numerous tourist attractions, both within access and
information to be found on social media. Transport that leads directly to the
area is widely found around the tourist area, where tourist access increases.

Additionally, tourist facilities supplement the needs of tourists while they are
there, so even tourists return or come for the first time.

Mount galunggung has itself become a famous tourist attraction in eastern

Java, with great Numbers of tourists visiting to see natural sights and even
spiritual matters. Because it is thought that the galunggung mountains have
several places with distinct advantages for some tourists, having historical
events of their time.

Mount galinung itself is one of Indonesia's active mountains. It's been recorded
four times since the volcanic eruption. The last time it erupted was on May 5,
1982. The eruption activity lasted 9 months and ended on January 8, 1983. This
has resulted in 18 deaths, mostly from indirect things (accidents, colds, and
food shortages). And caused losses to around rp 1 billion rupiah and 22 villages
without residents.

3.1 Methodoloy

Galunggung mountains have many tourist tourist attractions, some of which

are the most frequented by tourists. This time I'm here to explain some of the
tourist tourist tourist sights. According to data from the Internet.

1. Crater Galunggung Mountain

The crater of mount galpangung is the icon of mount galupload. So no doubt

if this is the most frequented place by tourists. Its easy access adds to the
intentions of visiting tourists. How easily it will not be easy to reach the crater

2. Hot Springs Ciapans Water

tourists from both inside and outside the city who come to bathe in cihot. The

springs, natural baths, and bathtubs.

3. The Agung Galunggung Waterfall

The majestic falls of the galunggung have an altitude of about 300 feet [80 m].
It is accessible up the ladder of about 362 steps. The majestic falls of the
galloung offer a fascinating waterfall that lights up with the aid of the led
lights. Its color can vary in the form of green, red, and blue.

4. Viewdeck gal.

This place was built by the local administrators a few years ago. It presents a
view of tasikmalaya city's altitude. It also provided a camping site and a photo
site.

attraction is quite affordable. From the rupiah to the 2k rupiahs/people to 20k
rupiah/people.

4.1 Finding/Analysis

Based on the data above Galunggung mountain, it could be a reference point

for you to travel to tasikmalaya city. The beautiful scenery, easy access, and
inexpensive costs stabilize the heart to visit there. Those things can help your
heart and mind to be refreshed.

Galunggung mountains alone have not only four travel points, and you can
search the other sources for the tourist spots there, which must be a favorite
place for those on vacation to mt. galupload.

Especially after the covid-19 hit there must be a lot of people visiting there, so
you don't have to worry if it's lonely there, who knows if you can find a mate.
