Annual Dinner

1. Introduction

SINES is a newly established school which has emerged from the RCMS. As
RCMS’s scope expanded and more research disciplines were added, the centre turned into a
school. Even though a tremendous honour, it left students and faculty feeling slightly lost
who had deep affiliations with RCMS, side by side; it made new students who had enrolled in
SINES feel confused as they did not know about the history of RCMS or SINES. For this
purpose, (the student council of SINES?) wants to organise an annual dinner for students,
alumni faculty, and staff, where students can have a joyful evening socialising and recall their
best memories made during the tedious tenure curricular activities. The event will help bring
all the fraternity together and make them one whole team rather than the students of RCMS to
students of SINES. Here senior students and alumni can interact with their junior year
students and seek guidance from their seniors, who mentor them for the upcoming phases of
their lives.

2. Theme

Phoenix Rising (rebirth)

Colour: Royal hues (red, gold, black, purple)

3. Objectives

a) To foster close relationships between students, alumni and faculty.

b) To boost student morale, validate their contribution and promote their creativity

c) To nurture the sense of belongingness in the ex-students of former RCMS

d) To promote “Salam” and forgiveness amongst students.

4. Program Details

 Details of the program are as follows:

 Venue: Imperial Marquee, H13 Islamabad.

5. Expected Participants

A total of 200 students are anticipated to participate in this program, including Alumni.
However, the full strength of SINES currently is about 300 students, including labs from
other schools.

Dignitaries such as pro-rectos and principals of other schools shall be invited
