“Feb-Ibig: Liangan National High School Celebrates the Month of Love”

To celebrate the month of love in Liangan National High School (LNHS), the Supreme
Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) Officers, organized an activity called Feb-Ibig, a
Valentine’s Day Celebration that took place on February 14, 2023. They conducted some
activities that made everyone feel an overflowing happiness and love.

The former SSLG President, Kristine Gere, led the SSLG Officers in organizing and
conducting the said activities that filled the student’s day with heartfelt moments and
unforgettable memories.

The Valentine’s Day Celebration kicked off with the Feb-Ibig Hearty Entrance. The
students were encourage to participate by purchasing heart-shaped papers.

Moreover, students were given an opportunity to express their feelings, confessions, and
message through the Feb-Ibig Radio.

The SSLG Officers introduced the Feb-Ibig Jam, the students were allowed to enjoy
songs for nominal fee, one for jamming along and one for song request.

SSLG Officers created a Confession Wall so that the students could leave anonymous
sticky notes expressing their thoughts and feelings.

Additionally, the Love knot and blind date were designed for everyone, specifically for
couples.

The SSLG Officers highlighted the Marriage Booth in the Valentine’s Day Celebration
that gives opportunity for students to capture lasting memories through wedding ceremonies and
photographs.

Ma’am Mylene Salveron, the 21st Century Literature Teacher, together with her students
in Grade 11, set the Valentine’s Day Celebration more memorable by presenting their Musical
Theater, the Greatest Showman and High School Musical.

The Feb-Ibig Valentine’s Day Celebration ended successfully, leaving the students
feeling the spirit of love and happiness.
