Pantuyan NHS OBE:

Showers blessing, floods fun and smile and banners hope.

August 22, 2022 marks the new milestone for the different schools within the Philippines who are eager
to provide quality education to the hope of this fatherland. As we dream of taking the landscape of
education back to were it was before after the raging pandemic distorted its prime in the young hearts
and mind of learners. Pantuyan National High School as one of the institutions dreaming to inspire and
educate the learners of P.M. Sobrecarey, Caraga Davao Oriental supports Oplan Balik Eskwela 2022.
Sounded its welcome tune, displaying the warm welcome of Mandaya Culture. The welcome ceremony
opened with the beat of Mangmang and Gimbal'l a Mandaya instrument that produces a beating of
harmony and synchronization, with the dancers of Pantuyan NHS Mandaya Cultural Ensemble dancing
gracefully that made the new learners of Grade 7 up to 12 feel the warmest welcome as the step back to
the school campus. Their entrance made the eager hearts of teachers be more excited to again as they
have seen the happiness in each heart of learners with the happiness also of supportive parents carrying
their children's bag and seeing them in school again, particularly the cute and lovely grade 7 learners.
Later on the first Flag Ceremony was conducted, a prayer offered and the dance performance of all the
learners in the tune of GALAW PILIPINAS. As Mrs. Julie Pearl P. Sumalinab welcome each student. She
made each heart of learners pump with excitement, as alumni had sponsored a small amount of blessing
to extend their warmest greeting to the learners of Pantuyan NHS. The said was given in a manner of
trivia question for fun and excitement. And as the office of the division of Davao oriental give their warm
welcome and thank you to learners through the IPED taken charge by Mr. Joselito T. Dapitanon as they
have brought hygiene kits for the Grade 7 and 8 learners who are so much grateful with the gift. The
event was on its peak as the respective teachers were introduced to the learners and the parents with
smiles, shouts and claps the eager learners expressed their happiness of being in the care of these
teachers who have responded to the call for quality education.

Much more the OIC to the office of the principal Mrs. Nora F. Palma Gil, in her message welcomed the
learners and give her salutation and word of thanksgiving to the parents for extending their support and
sending their learners to Pantuyan NHS. She also emphasized the schedule following the chosen
schedule of the DISTRICT with 3 in person and two day modular scheme that made the learners so much
happy and excited.

In the afternoon the different Psycho Social Activities made the learners Laugh, cry, and be relieved with
the different burdens, problems feelings that they have been carrying. The said event had open and had
brought smiles and hope to learners beyond the great fear that the pandemic had stroke and painted in
their hearts.

Moreover, a promising school year and with a hope of going back to full blast in terms of scheduling are
what the teachers and learners are hoping for a band new School Year 2022-2023. The transition from
New Normal to the Most Normal.
