This is in accordance to the 2022 NATIONAL TEACHER’S

DAY/WORLD TEACHER’S DAY CELEBRATION IN DEPED SDO PALAWAN of
Division Memorandum No. 369, s 2022 that all schools shall actively
participate in the 2022 National Teachers Month and World Teachers Day
(WTD) Celebration on October 5, 2022 with the theme “Gurong
Pilipino:Dangal ng Sambayanang Pilipino”.

Consequently, Amas Elementary School successfully implemented

this memorable celebration. All of the settings were prepared by the SPG
Officers, with the guidance of Ma’am Lea Claire Valdez-Nonales - SPG
adviser and the GPTA Officers.

The different officers of the said organizations planned it very well.

There were different assignments for the celebration such as in charge in
program, contests, parlor games, presentations, documentations and other

related tasks for the said event. These pupils and parents were only
just guided by the SPG adviser and the rest are their responsibilities. Their
shared time and effort were all manifested all throughout the celebration.

The program started at exactly 8:00 am. It began with A Synchronized

Prayer for Teachers which was lead by Ma’am Girlie A. Diestro, Head
Teacher II, followed by the singing of National Anthem led by the SPG
Officers.

The program was warmed and graced by the message of the PTA
President Mr. Begell S. Libetario. His message encouraged and inspired
everyone especially the teachers to continue their journey being in their
noblest profession.

The presence of our District AO, Ma’am Rhoda Lucero and Ma’am
were highly appreciated. Tokens in the form of 1liters Coco Water were given
to them.

This very special day was flavoured by different surprises, games and
activities. Different Parlor Games were played by teachers such as Pinoy
Henyo, Hephep Hooray and I-Shoot Mo conducted by Ma’am Diestro as the
School Head and her team including the GPTA Officers.

Sharing ones gratitude of different pupils were emphasized in the

program by dedicating a song and dance presentations.

A surprise number from Amas ES Teachers was requested by the

GPTA & SPG Officers. Without hesitations, all the teachers positively and
enthusiastically presented an on-the-spot dance number in the tune of “Girl
in the Mirror.”

We have witnessed how teachers have been at the heart of educational

responses: not only in ensuring that learning can happen in spite of school
closures, but also supporting their students’ socio-emotional well-being.

As a result, parents, communities, and education systems have

gained a renewed appreciation of teachers and their vital role in educational
recovery and in supporting the social, economic and cultural life of societies.
