MOVING UP CEREMONY

Ingress / Introduction

Emcee: Good day! We are about to start the ceremony in a few minutes. A few health
and safety reminders for everyone.

The following measures must be strictly observed at all times:

a. Participants must be seated at their assigned seats only,
b. Parents and Guardians are reminded to stay at your
designated areas as not to distract the solemnity of the
ceremony.

Education is our passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to the people
who prepare for it today.

Let us witness the ENTRANCE OF THE COLORS.

Processional: Ladies and gentlemen, let us witness the processional march of the
candidates for moving up for this school year 2023-2024 followed by the visitors,
GPTA officers and M.E.S teachers.

Emcee: Education is the golden key to unlock the door of opportunities. And the
door of opportunities of our dear pre-schoolers are yet to be opened.

Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the 31 st Moving Up Ceremony of

Macanhan Elementary School for School Year 2023-2024 with the theme:
Gradwyt ng K to 12, Hinubog ng matatag na Edukasyon!

May I request everyone to please stand for the singing of the NATIONAL
ANTHEM to be conducted by Jeshwell Zin L. Awiten, and to be followed by
an invocation, Rehiyon Dyes and Cagayan de Oro March by the Select Kinder
Pupils and Bernadette B. Balagot, conducting.

Welcome Remarks:
Today is the day of rejoicing for it marks the first step that every child must undertake to
open up to another important stage of their lives.

To inspire our completers, we shall now hear a message from our dear school principal,
Madam Naomi D. Tocmohan. (A big round of applause please!)

Indeed, Thank you for that wonderful words of yours ma’am.

There’s no limit as to the amount of knowledge you can obtain. Thus, never stop learning!

Presentation & Confirmation of the Candidates for Graduation

Emcee: The School Principal Maam Naomi D. Tocmohan will now formally open the
30th Moving Up Ceremony of Macanhan Elementary School and present the
candidates for completion.

Principal: The 30th Moving Up Ceremony of Macanhan Elementary School is hereby

declared in session. On behalf of the Administration, faculty, and staff, and
students, I welcome all of you to this Moving Up Ceremony of School Year
2022-2023. We would like to extend our felicitations to the Kinder
Completers and their families on this event.

Principal: Dr. Roy Angelo E. Gazo, Schools Division Superintendent of Cagayan de Oro
City, I have the honor to present to you the 232 Kindergarten Pupils- 122 of
whom are boys and 110 of whom are girls- who have satisfactorily
completed the requirements for Kindergarten level.

SDS / Rep: By the power vested in me by the Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Roy
Angelo E. Gazo, and by virtue of the certification made by your principal
Madam Naomi D. Tocmohan that you have satisfactorily completed all the
requirements of the Basic Education Curriculum for elementary education, I
hereby confirm you Completers this 10th day of July 2023 here at Macanhan
Elementary School. CONGRATULATIONS!

Emcee: May I call in our Public School District Supervisor, Dr. Margie G. Andrade,
our GPTA President Pastor Rustom Babayran Marquino Jr., Asst. to the
School Principal Maam Elena T. Galarrita and School Principal Maam Naomi
D. Tocmohan to DISTRIBUTE THE CERTIFICATES AND AWARDS. I will
now present the awards to our Kinder Pupils.

Message to Parents
Let us all listen a message to our dear parents to be given by a mother
herself, our Asst. to the School Principal, Madam Elena T. Galarrita.

Thank you very much for the very inspiring and insightful message you
imparted this morning ma’am. Your words will surely guide our parents as
they tread a new path with their child. May your messages motivate them to
strive harder as a parent or as a guardian.

Reminders: Reminding all parents to slowly move closer to your child as the
song starts.

Tribute Song
Emcee: Nikki Nicole Kabigue and Al Yninne Mahinay will now lead the completers
on their tribute song.

Acknowledgement
Emcee: At this time, we will now hear an address of thanks from Kurt Gabriel

Closing Song
Emcee: And now the time has come. Tomorrow, new challenges and opportunities
await the learners that will further test their courage as improving
individuals. As they continue on their journey, may they look back to this
stage in their life with fondness and pride.

Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome the kindergarten completers to sing

their closing song, entitled: “It’s a Beautiful Day”.

School. Congratulations to all our completers, awardees, and parents. May

For our pictorial by class together with the visitors and the kinder teachers, pls be reminded
not to disarrange the chairs. The graduates will still go back to their respective place/seats
for the recessional.
