Emcee: Good day! We are about to start the ceremony in a few minutes. A few health and
safety reminders for everyone.

The following measures must be strictly observed at all times:

a. Participants must be seated at their assigned seats only,
b. Only the parents or one designated guardian shall be permitted to
accompany a candidate for graduation.

Education is one of the most powerful aspects of life. Education and learning allow us to make
sense of the world around us, the world inside us, and where we fit within the world.
Let us witness the ENTRANCE OF THE COLORS.

Processional: Ladies and gentlemen, let us witness the processional march of the candidates for
graduation for this school year 2022-2023 together with their parents and guardians, followed by the
visitors, GPTA officers and M.E.S teachers

Emcee: As the Department continues to address the challenge of quality in education in the
new normal, we firmly believe that access to education is the first step to achieving a
bright future. As we close the gap and shift from access to quality, DepEd Cagayan de
Oro’s battle cry to these challenges is C.D.O: Competence, Dedication, Optimism – the
Division’s mantra which is embedded in all programs, projects, and activities. These
core values have transcended into the lives of the Kagay-anon learners as they endure
the rigors of various learning modalities in school. Today, we shall bear witness to the
success of these learners which is a clear manifestation of such CDO influence.
Competence, Dedication, and Optimism brought them to this point along with the
support of their parents, teachers, and friends.

Presentation & Confirmation of the Candidates for Graduation

Emcee: The School Principal Maam Naomi D. Tocmohan will now formally open the 30 th Grade
six Graduation Ceremony of Macanhan Elementary School and present the candidates
for graduation.

Principal: The 30th Graduation Ceremony of Macanhan Elementary School is hereby declared in
session. On behalf of the Administration, faculty, and staff, and students, I welcome all
of you to this Graduation Ceremony of School Year 2022-2023. We would like to extend
our felicitations to the Grade Six Graduates and their families on this event.
Principal: Dr. Roy Angelo E. Gazo, Schools Division Superintendent of Cagayan de Oro City, I have
the honor to present to you the 236 Grade Six- 129 of whom are boys and 107 of whom
are girls- who have satisfactorily completed the requirements for Elementary Level.

SDS / Rep: By the power vested in me by the Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Roy Angelo E.
Gazo, and by virtue of the certification made by your principal Madam Naomi D.
Tocmohan that you have satisfactorily completed all the requirements of the Basic
Education Curriculum for elementary education, I hereby confirm you Graduates this

Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Roy Angelo E. Gazo- with his representative our
Public School District Supervisor Dr. Margie G. Andrade, will now read a message on
behalf of our DepEd Secretary, Madam Sara Duterte-Carpio.

Brad Gerrard said: Believe in yourself, be strong, never give up no matter what the
circumstances are. You are a champion and will overcome the dreaded obstacles.
Champions take failure as a learning opportunity so take in all you can and run with it.
Be your best and don’t ever give up! Let us hear a graduation song from our dear
graduates.

Tocmohan, Asst. to the School Principal Maam Elena T. Galarrita, and the GPTA
