The concept of equations , linear equations and types of different equations will be explained to the students
relating it with other fields and daily life. Information related to graphs will be explained and practice of
plotting graphs of linear equations will be done.Different methods of solving simultaneous equations wil be
discussed.

 Mental Math will be taken through a quiz. For example:
 What do you know about Gradient of a straight line.
 What do you know about different methods of solving equation of straight line.
 Announcement of the topic.
 SLOs will be shared with the students.
 Students will be able to identify expressions and solve equations .
AV aids will be used for better understanding.

 First recognize the expression and calculate the gradient of the line.
