Students give examples of number pattern. Lead the student to see that number patterns repeat
within themselves e.g. 2,5,8,2,5,8,2,5, 8..
Give a number sequence. Students study it and find the relation between the terms. Discuss and
students will identify the nth term.
Practice Now 3 Textbook page 65, 5A, Q8 (I,ii) page 69 will be solved under the supervision of
teacher.

Students find the next number in a sequence and establish a rule. Listen to their answers
and explain the procedure of finding the number pattern.
