VISION 2030
About DComC
The Daraga Community College was created in the year
2003 by virtue of Municipal Ordinance No. 17-03 passed on
April 23, 2003. The creation of the Daraga Community
College was made possible by virtue of Section 447-(5)
item (x) of the Local Government Code of 1991. This
particular ordinance also created the Daraga Community
College Advisory Council (Section 94-17-03). This particular
provision however was subsequently amended during the
July 21, 2003 session of the Sangguniang Bayan by
reorganizing the composition of the Advisory Council
through Ordinance No. 37-2003 and renaming the
governing and policy-making body of the college from
Advisory Council to Board of Trustees.
