Critical electrical fires are at an all-time high in India. NCRB reports 25k annual fatalities due
to electrical faults. Inability to enforce requirements of CEA Regulations and IS732 puts all
buildings at risk.

Manual audits is obsolete. The Indian standard for electrical wiring (IS732) requires protection
from several electrical faults. During a manual audit only 6 of 20 electrical faults are checked.
Critical fire risks such as loose connections, damaged insulation are not identifiable.

Govt Regulations require the use of technology to prevent electrical fires.

• Fire Advisory, Ministry of Home Affairs had recommended use of IOT based devices for
all Hospitals via circular dated 4th May 2021
• Maharashtra Govt has issued an GR No: 2021/114/urja5 on electrical safety
requirements for commercial building.
• MCGM has mandated Microcontroller based IOT devices for use in all High Rise
buildings via the Fire NOC process.
