influence how they respond to stress. People differ in how they handle stress
due to factors like personality, coping skills, and support systems. Some may be
more resilient, while others may struggle.

2. What job characteristics are most likely to result in high levels of stress?
Stress can result from jobs with a lot of obligations, little control, and little
assistance. Uncertain jobs and an overwhelming workload might also be factors.

3. Why should organizations be concerned about employee stress?


Stress among employees has an effect on health, job satisfaction, and
productivity, therefore organizations should be concerned about it. Stressed
employees may also contribute to increased turnover.

4. How much attention should organizations pay to noise and temperature?


Temperature and noise levels are important since they can affect
concentration and general wellbeing. Establishing balance is important for
creating a comfortable workplace.

5. Do stress management techniques actually work? Why or why not?


Stress management techniques can be effective and helpful, like
mindfulness or exercise, but their results can vary. Their impact is influenced by
their personal dedication and the organization's backing.

6. Why does workplace violence occur?


Workplace violence can result from a number of things, including
disagreements, power struggles, and unsolved problems. Resolving these
essential problems helps in the avoidance of similar situations.
