* Our crew spots this. They and the Narco’s and .50 Cal begin
to unload.
* The .50 Cal cuts through a pedestrian, Julia and David hug
behind a wall for cover, the .50cal just missing them.
* West disarms the .50cal gunner, Gunner and Guapo take out
the rest and advance.
* David and Julia join and they cross the carnage and climb
the stairs of the pedestrian bridge.

DRONE SHOT: We watch our team advance into the city across
the bridge.
* A few military vehicles fly by, our crew take cover behind
a line of burnt up cars.

The military convoy pulls down a street and parks in front of
an abandoned horse arena.
Roman and Moreau hop out, they are greeted outside by a few

In the middle of the dirt arena, bloodied up, but still alive
and sitting in a chair, is Matty.

raises his gun, Gunner quickly kills him; the crowd scurries
revealing the other three men, which he trades fire with,
then takes out.

* The camera begins to slowly DOLLY OUT. Revealing another
phrase etched onto the wall, “Huele a Libertad” (Smells Like
Freedom), then the last words to creep into frame, “Viva
Venezuela!”.

* After a few more moments, two young boys run into frame and
stop in front of the dead boy, then kneel down and take his
gun, running off.
* The shop keeper continues opening up, gun shots echo, the
sound of a car approaching... After another beat, a military
truck roars past camera, the dead boy stays still in the

A Narco Man sits in his car on his phone, gun at his side,
music plays from his speakers.

The Narco Man looks up and see’s Gunner walking away, he
realizes who it is, makes a move for his gun.

Behind Gunner we see the Narco car explode into a fire ball,
the people in the park run.
Gunner raises his pistol into the air and begins firing,
calling any and all attention to himself, he heads for the
church.

73 EXT. BEACH ENTRANCE / FAR END OF PLAYGROUND - DAY 73
Our crew makes their way through the playground, they’re met
by more military, General Roman.
BULLETS pour in from rebels and General Roman, our crew takes
cover.

West spins around as best he can. Counter-firing on one knee,
killing the rebels, while Julia and David take cover behind a
fallen tree that barely does the job. BULLETS RAKE THE TREE.

They trade fire back and forth while Julia stays in cover.
But it’s clear Roman’s coming for them.
ROMAN

West goes to take cover, but... Roman gets him in the back of
the shoulder, he doesn’t make it.
West falls into the sand. Alive, bleeding. Wide open with no
cover now and plenty of bullets coming his way. He curls up.

David stands up, and both him and Roman fire at each other
simultaneously. BANG!

CLOSE UP: A cold bottle of beer and two water bottles are set
down on Bodega Bar counter of the run down river barge.
West picks them up and walks through the crowded boat, not
paying any mind to the other passengers eyeing him.
