PROJECT CONTEXT:
The hospitality industry is growing rapidly and there is an increasing demand for fast and effective
booking processes, our suggested system seeks to provide a user-friendly and reliable platform
for hotel administrators and customers to streamline the reservation process, increase
satisfaction with customers, and optimize overall hotel administration.
General Objective
The general objectives of a Hotel Reservation System are focused on improving the efficiency of the
booking process, enhancing customer satisfaction, and optimizing the overall management of hotel
reservations.
Specific Objectives
For users/guest
Booking appointments: for the user to freely choose the room that they will book.
Check in: for guests to set the time and date of their arrival.
Check out: for guests to set the time and date of their leave.

Create account: for users to create and register their personal data.
Billing details: Provide the guest with an accurate and itemized bill for their stay.
Login and Logout: to access the system.
For administrator
Scope
The developers will use visual studio for web development.
The system will have user authentication, integrating a user registration process and
allowing users to create an account.
The system will have a user-friendly interface that allows guests to easily navigate through
the system, browse available rooms, and complete the reservation process without
complications.
The system will have a section that displays the list of booked rooms.
The system will have a section that displays the list of available rooms.
The system will have a section where it keeps all the transaction records for transparency.
The system will have a section for billing detail for the users to see their billing information.

Limitation
The client can only reserve the room and packages displayed on the website.
If the user is not a registered member no transaction can be made other than viewing
the whole website.
Payment for the reservation made is not included in the system, the customer must
personally pay through visiting the hotel.
The admin can only update/edit the price for each room and function halls.
The system cannot be accessed if they don’t have internet access.

Manual reservation processes are time-consuming and prone to errors. The project's goal in
selecting a Hotel Reservation System is to automate and improve the reservation process,
decreasing manual labor for hotel staff, minimizing errors, and enhancing overall performance.

Market Research and Demand: growing trend of consumers preferring online booking
platforms and a competitive landscape that supports digital reservation systems, it suggests
a workable market for the proposed system.
The developers' budget is sufficient to cover the necessary expenses to complete the
system.

The developers have plan and steps that will be followed to create the proposed system.
