Research Questions

1. What are the available Information and Communication Technology devices in teaching

Special Education Students?

2. To what extent do the Lecturers utilize the Information and Communication Technology

devices in teaching Special Education Students?

3. Does gender influence the Utilization of Information and Communication Technology

devices for teaching Special Education Students?

Research Hypothesis

Ho1: There is no significant difference between the male and female lecturer’s utilization if

ICT devices

HO2: There is no significant difference in the lecturer’s utilization of ICT Devices based on

the years of teaching experience.

Scope of the Study

The scope of this study is limited to the Availability and Utilization of Information and

Communication Technology devices in Teaching Special Education needs Students in College of

Education (Special) Oyo. This study focuses only on the lecturers in the Special Education

Department. 100 teachers will be sampled in the study as respondents for the study. It will be

carried out with the aid of a structured questionnaire; the lectures that participate in the study will

be randomly selected from the Special Education department.
