OBJECTIVES: This monitoring tool is developed to ensure that sound, quality, and
appropriate services are implemented and maintained for the Kindergarten
Education Program. Specifically, it has the following objectives:
a. assess the level of implementation of the Kindergarten Education Program
(KEP);
b. determine the presence of the developmental domains among kindergarten
learners, and
c. address issues concerning the kindergarten program to strengthen its
implementation.
To support continuous improvement of the program, after initial monitoring,
any component that requires further attention should be monitored again within the
same school year.
