DISPUTE LETTER INSTRUCTIONS

Each leter is to be duplicated three (3) times addressed separately to each of the
three main
credit bureaus (Equifax, Experian, TransUnion).
Itis highly recommended that you send these leters via "Certiied Return Receipt".
Each letter has a place for a notary to notarze your letter. This is not essential
but can be
helpful. Most iocal banks offer tree notary services to their customers. Do not
sign the leter until
you are in the presence of the notary public.
Include a copy oftwo forms ofID when sending dispute letters. Proper forms ofID are
listed
below.
Dniver's License
State ID Card
Bank or Credit Union Statement (not electronic)
Cancelled Check
Govemment Issued ID
Signed Letter trom Homeless Shelter
Stamped Post Ofice Box Receipt
Utlty Bils (Water, Gas, Electric, or Telephone)
Pay Stub
Itis EXTREMELY IMPORTANTto send the correct forms ofID.If they are not sent, the
bureaus
willignore your requests or reply with a request for you t send the corect
information. Either ot
these willincrease the time needed to get you back on the right road to the best
possible creait
for your situation.
DO NOT dispute more tnan 22 derogatory tems at one time, otherwise the credit
bureaus might
mark your disputes as frivolous.
In the dispute templates, replace the bold red content with your personal
information.
Keep good records. Date and record everything you send and everything you receive.
Do not gve upor get scared in the process. Regardless of what the credit bureau
sends you, t
the derogatory tem is not removed trom your report. proceed with the next letter.
