Job Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as Amazon Van Delivery
Drivers. As a crucial part of the delivery process, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently
delivering Amazon packages to customers within designated routes. This role requires excellent
driving skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

Safe and Timely Deliveries:

● Operate an Amazon-branded van safely and responsibly.
● Adhere to traffic laws and company guidelines to ensure on-time and secure package
deliveries.
● Efficiently navigate delivery routes using GPS.

Package Handling:
● Load and unload packages from the delivery van with care.
● Ensure proper organisation of parcels to avoid damage.

Customer Service:
● Provide a positive and professional customer experience during deliveries.
● Communicate with customers in a friendly manner and address any delivery-related
inquiries.
● Represent Amazon with a professional and customer-friendly attitude.

Vehicle Maintenance:
● Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery van.
● Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly to the designated supervisor.
● Keep the delivery van clean and organised. All rubbish taken out of van at end of route

Adherence to Policies:
● Follow Amazon's delivery policies and guidelines at all times.
● Maintain confidentiality and security of customer information and packages.
● Comply with safety standards to ensure the well-being of yourself and others.

Driver's Licence:
Must possess a valid driver's licence for at least 1 year, clean driving record with no points.

Experience:
Previous experience in delivery or a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 23KG. Stamina to handle a physically
demanding role that involves constant movement. You will be walking more than driving

Summary
10 Hour Shifts 9.30 - 7.30

Start at 9.30 in van yard M17 1NF, to collect keys, devices and do a vehicle check.

You've got 9 hours to finish your route by 7.15pm

Pay is 103.50 a day, you do not pay for insurance, fuel or van rental.

Delivery Location: you will be delivering in the Eccles, Salford, Swinton Area, experienced
drivers move closer to the city centre after several months.

Parcel Count: 150-350 depending on location

Training: 2 days of in-class training, then 1 day shadowing an experienced driver on how
vehicles are checked, vans are organised during loading and how to do a route with tips on how
to best perform at your ability.

Training routes
You will complete 3 levels of training routes before you move onto full routes.

3 shifts of x 85% of a full route
3 shifts of x 95% of a full route
