We are leading Freight Forwarder / NVOCC / Customs Clearance Broker, with locations in main
Egyptian ports and over 200 employees, and worldwide network of partner’s offices.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Ocean Export Manager to join our team and
take ownership of our ocean export operations.

About the role

This position is primarily responsible for managing export transactions in the Sea Freight Business Unit,
including all related activities for an assigned base of accounts. This position is also responsible for
setting priorities for the team, expediting transactions and tasks to meet customer expectations and
government requirements, and monitoring the quality of service including documents produced by
the team by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

§ Manage and oversee the ocean export operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of
shipments to their destination.
§ Develop and maintain relationships with ocean carriers, customs brokers, and other service
providers to ensure smooth operations.
§ Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and
professionally.
§ Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to ocean exports.
§ Develop and implement strategies to optimize operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
§ Train and manage a team of ocean export specialists to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Job requirements
§ Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
§ At least 10 years of experience in ocean export operations, with a proven track record of
managing a team and delivering results.
§ Have a minimum of 5-10 years of supervisory/management experience.
§ Have a solid understanding and advanced knowledge of ACID, ENS regulations as well as
knowledge of all other government agency regulations governing Ocean Export shipments.
§ Possess knowledge of Incoterms, ISO 9001 procedures and hazardous materials regulations.
§ Possess exceptional leadership qualities with the ability to work independently, multi-task, be a
team player and work in a fast paced environment.
 § Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
§ Have strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
