4) Concept
This lesson aimed to provide students with knowledge about what teenagers say about
careers in the future. Students must be able exchange information and give a simple reason
about the careers they want to be in the future.

7) Learning Activities
First Period
1. Warm up (5 Minutes)
- The teacher asks students to look at the picture on page 19, and teacher ask them about the
picture with a following question.
- What do you think the reading is about?
- Who are the people?
- What are they doing?
2. Presentation (15 Minutes)
- The teacher asks students to read the passage “Professions”. After finish reading each
paragraph, the teacher asks students about the details to keep students on track.
- Students do activity “True or False” The teacher read the details of the passage and ask the
students to answer if it true or false.
- The teacher presents the sentence structures about occupation as shown below thought slide
presentations. After that, the teacher leads students to pronounce them.

B: I want to be ________. because _____________.
- The teacher asks volunteers to come out and read the conversation as an example.
3. Practice (25 Minutes)
- Students do exercise 4.2. Complete the sentences with because and the correct reason in
the box.
4. Warp up (5 Minutes)
- The students and the teacher summarize the learning content together.
Second Period
1.Warm up (5 Minutes)
- Students review vocabulary about occupation through flashcards. The teacher shows each
flashcard and asks, “What is this occupation?”
2. Presentation (15 Minutes)
- The teacher presents the sentence structures about asking classmate information as shown
below. After that, the teacher leads students to pronounce them.

- The teacher asks volunteers to come out and read the conversation as an example.
3. Production (25 Minutes)
Teacher asks student to work in pair and come out for speaking test as shown below.

B: He/She want to be _______.
4. Warp up (5 Minutes)
- The students and the teacher summarize the learning content together.
- The teacher asks students to give feedback about the lesson. The teacher corrects students’
