 Group: a small number of people working in a collaborative style with individual


input and accountability
 Team: a small number of people with complimentary skills who are committed to a
common purpose, performance goals and approach for which they hold themselves
mutually accountable

Working group = a kind of team, have its characteristics

- make up for each other weaknesses, divers range of ideas, learn from each other,
multi-skilling => competence related benefits
Social benefits: relationships, sense of belonging
