III. Interpretation
Mesh Current analysis is a network analysis technique that adheres to
Kirchhoff’s law concept in finding the circulating current in a closed path
mesh or loop (Electronics Tutorial, 2023). Nodal Analysis, conversely, is a
technique assigning specific points or nodes in a circuit to identify the voltage
on an extensive network following Kirchhoff’s Current Law (Libretext, 2022).
This experiment used the two techniques in two different setups to further
understand the relationship of parameters in each circuit. Three voltage
sources in both circuits are denoted as VS1, VS2, and VS3 containing 5V, 12V,
and 8V, respectively.
The first setup is analyzed using mesh analysis, and the resistors used in
the setup have a resistance of 390 Ω, 840 Ω, 533.3 Ω, 425.2 Ω, and 994 Ω
consecutively. A3 with 0.001 A measures the lowest among all ammeters in
the circuit, indicating that 994 Ω of resistance from R5 counters the current
despite high voltages coming from 2 sources (VS2 and VS3). The measured
voltage across all mesh equates to the amount of voltage from each voltage
source. We used the equation pattern for mesh analysis to verify the
measured values, and upon calculating, minimal discrepancies implicating a
correct demonstration of mesh analysis through the setup. For the nodal
Analysis, measured values for nodal Analysis show that the highest voltage is
recorded from VS3 with 11.86 V, while the highest current is from the second
node with 0.010A. This setup has no calculated values due to a super node
formed.
IV. Conclusion
• There is a distribution of voltage from three different voltage sources.
The measured values verified that despite different compositions in
each mesh, each voltage equates to the voltage source's voltage.

• The basis of the equation is the theory of KCL in which the resulting
values proved that the current flowing through the meshes is
incorporated with the voltage supplied and resistance.
• The measure values for nodal analysis produced three different
amounts of current passing through the networks. Based on
observations, the voltage on a particular node is lower than the
supplied voltage.
• There is no calculation initiated; hence, the similarity of KVL to the
response of any nodal in the circuit.
