IT Consultant Technology Applications (SAP ERP Interfaces) (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the further development and support of the current solutions and platforms for interfaces between our SAP instances and to production equipment as well as to our
customers and vendors.
• Coordinating and prioritizing the business requests and requirements with the respective departments and IT Business Applications and aligning the solutions with the overall IT
architecture
• Responsible for the implementation of change requests for projects and maintenance as well as incident and problem management
• Ensuring integrated solutions following industry standards and best practice and therewith helping to implement the IT strategy for the specific domain
• Managing and supervising external employees and service providers

Qualifications

• Degree in business administration, industrial engineering or information technology or comparable education as business administrator (IHK) or IT specialist
• Relevant work experience in a comparable role
• Specific knowledge in interfacing with SAP ERP systems, ideally experience in ABAP development
• Good knowledge in the analysis, design, implementation and operation of IT solutions
• Process knowledge from the chemical industry or comparable industries is beneficial
• Knowledge of ITIL, COBIT or comparable methods, experienced user of O365 products
• Good self-motivation, service and result oriented
• Proficient in written and spoken business English, basic knowledge of German both written and spoken
• Expected travel around 10%
