Marketing Executive
Title: Marketing Executive

To join our busy Corporate Communications team, we are looking for a dynamic person with a
positive attitude who will provide support for Software Europe’s marketing activities.

This role will educate, communicate and inform prospects and customers about Software Europe
and its products and services.

What do we do? We are at the cutting edge of technology with our B2B cloud solutions which
are complemented with Smartphone Apps. We sell this technology to some of the world’s
biggest companies. In fact Europe’s biggest employer is one of our customers. We have
Premier League football teams, exclusive fragrance brands and a selection of communications

What you will do? Have fun. Get creative and tell the world about what we are doing and why
they should use our technologies. It’s that simple. There’s the day-to-day stuff of course,
Google AdWords, website updates and social media to manage, but we want creativity and that
desire to be exceptional.

You are going to need to understand what we do so a technical bias is really going to help us
both…but we’re not talking anything more than understanding the power of cloud and mobile
technologies.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager the successful candidate will:

• Manage the production cycle of marketing materials; including leaflets, posters, flyers,
newsletters and email campaigns.
• Write and proofread corporate literature and articles for Software Europe and each

• Ensure all marketing materials produced have a positive visual impact.
• Enforce and follow brand guidelines, ensuring the brand recognition grows within the
target market.
• Generate sales leads through electronic communications such as email campaigns, pay
per-click adverts, social media and website optimisation for all products, services and
events.
• Liaise with external contacts such as designers, print agencies and editors.
• Manage the distribution of marketing material.
• Maintain and update the internal CRM (contact management) database.
• Plan, organise and promote product specific events such as conferences, seminars,
receptions and exhibitions; and attend where required.
• Conduct market and customer research.
• Work with the Corporate Communications team to develop marketing plans and
strategies.
• Keep current with professional sector news.
• Analyse and monitor competitors and their marketing strategies.
• Review, optimise and update the corporate website to ensure maximum visibility and
accessibility, ensuring visitor retention.
• Post marketing campaign evaluation.
• Support the Marketing Manager and other colleagues.
• Support all departments when required.
• Compliance with all company policies and procedures, data protection and health and
safety requirements
• Fulfil any additional duties as the business may require

• In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft office suite, including Microsoft Excel, Word,
PowerPoint. E
• Excellent multimedia skills in design and implementation, with knowledge of Adobe
Creative Cloud apps including, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash, Dreamweaver
Premier Pro, or similar. E
Person • Experience or knowledge of social media channels and strategy (not limited to but

• A graduate or equivalent experience. D

• A demonstrable track record showing progressively holding more responsible positions

• Familiarity and skill with the tools of the trade in marketing including PR, written
communication, website development, market research, product packaging, Microsoft
software suite of products, visual communication software products, and creative

• Presentation skills. D
• Marketing research and analytical experience. D
• Website management including prior experience of managing content management
systems (CMS). D
• Experience or knowledge of SEO. D
• Experience or knowledge of Google AdWords. D
