Associate Consultant - Digital & Technology Transformation Advisory

Role description: Work involves Ideation, creation and implementation of high impact/ end-to-end
Digital and Technology transformation programs for clients across industry segment in India, Middle
East, Africa and ASEAN markets.

Preferred skill sets - At least 2 (1 at expertise level and 1 at understanding level)

• Digital Strategy, processes, and operating model
• Customer Experience Design: Web/Mobile
• Agile / Cloud / DevOps / APIs/Digital Architecture/ Emerging Technologies
• Technology strategy, Project Management
• Industry domain (Financial services, Retail, e-Com, Telecom, Media Consumer products,
Mfg.), Start-up / Fintech ecosystem

Your key responsibilities:

This role involves working directly with leading clients across Industry segments in India and emerging
markets for marquee industry leading programs of setting up new business models and end-to-end
business and technology transformation programs, using digital as a enabler. This is one of highest
growth area in the consulting space, with opportunity to make significant business impact and gain
valuable skills

Digital Strategy: Define digital business strategies and operating model covering end to end
solutioning, ecosystem partnerships, detailed digital financial business plans and business cases.
Development of customer driven, value enhancing strategies to drive increased business
effectiveness, improved technology utilization, and enhanced positioning to address marketplace
forces.

• Working on delivering Digital transformation projects working with an ecosystem of

partners, alliance partners and service providers
• Understanding of Digital Technologies such as API tools, Analytics, AR/VR,
Cloud/DevOps, Blockchain etc. and use them in the transformation projects

Customer Experience Design: Ability to work with UI/UX designers to craft a customer experience
prototype to be presented to the client
Platform Evaluation & Selection: Execution of proven methodologies to objectively identify,
evaluate, and select platforms and tools that most effectively enable digital marketing campaigns

Process & Technology Improvement: Performing of detailed assessments on the effectiveness of

‘customer impacting’ processes and technology landscape and recommendations to align to corporate
goals, market trends
Digital Marketing and unified communications: Campaign design and build, proof reading, and deploy
email, SMS, mobile push campaigns from email service platforms. Audience segmentation and
targeting for campaign deployment, cross sell/up sell strategies implementation

Agile programs management: To ensure that the requirements are captured in a proper manner and
converted into solutions design and implementation by respective service providers or team
members, using agile methodology

Ideally you should also have

• Prior Client facing work experience in any industry
• Prior experience on digital platforms and understanding of technology environment
• Strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation skills
• Comfortable interacting with senior executives (within the firm and at the client)
• Strong leadership skills ability to drive the agenda with clients , service providers and within
EY teams
• Ability to articulate the issues and solutions in a clear and concise manner
• Strong business acumen, quick learning capabilities, ability to collaborate with diverse teams
• Appreciation / understanding of technologies for the enablement of business models
• Strong commitment to work , work ethics and positive attitude to drive collaboration
• Flexibility to travel and work on outstation/ overseas projects
