seeking forgiveness and repentance in the
last 10 days & nights of Ramadan.

'Aishah (May Allah be pleased with her) narrated :

I said : "O Messenger of Allah, what is your view if I know when

the Night of Al-Qadr is, then what should I say in it?"

He said : ‘Say: “O Allah, indeed You are Pardoning, [Generous,]

You love pardon, so pardon me."

‫ﱢ‬ ُ ْ َ
‫اﻟﻌ ْﻔ َﻮ ﻓﺎﻋﻒ َﻋﻨﻲ‬
َ ‫ﺐ‬ ِ ‫ ُﺗ‬،‫ﻚ َﻋ ُﻔ ﱞﻮ‬
‫ﺤ ﱡ‬ ‫ﱠ‬
َ ‫اﻟﻠ ُﻬ ﱠﻢ ِإ ﱠﻧ‬
Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun tuhibbul ‘afwa fa‘fu ‘anni

"O Allah, indeed You are Pardoning,

[Generous,] You love pardon, so pardon me."

 Surah Al Qadr

- In the name of Allah,

the Beneficent, َ ‫ﺳ ۡﻮ َر ُة ا‬
‫ﻟﻘﺪر‬ ُ
the Merciful -

Verily, We have sent it

(this Qur'ân) ‫ﻦ ٱﻟﺮﱠ ﺣِ ﻴ ِﻢ‬
ِ ‫ِﺑ ۡﺴ ِﻢ ٱﻟﻠﻪِ ٱﻟﺮ ۡﱠﺣﻤَ ٰـ‬
down in the night of Al-
Qadr (Decree)
(1) And what will make
you know what
(١) ‫ﻧﺰ ۡﻟ َﻨ ٰـ ُﻪ ﻓِ ﻰ َﻟ ۡﻴ َﻠﺔِ ۡٱﻟ َﻘ ۡﺪ ِر‬

ecree) is? َ ‫إ ﱠﻧﺂ َأ‬
(2) The night of Al-Q
adr (Decree) is ِ
َ ۡ ُ َ
(٢) ‫ٰﻚ ﻣَ ﺎ َﻟ ۡﻴﻠﺔ ٱﻟﻘ ۡﺪ ِر‬

ths (i.e. َ ‫َوﻣَ ﺂ َأ ۡد َر‬
worshipping Allâh in that
َ ‫َ ۬ﺮ ﱢﻣ ۡﻦ َأ ۡﻟ ِﻒ‬
(٣) ‫ﺷ ۡہ ۬ ٍﺮ‬ ٌ ‫َﻟ ۡﻴ َﻠ ُﺔ ۡٱﻟ َﻘ ۡﺪ ِر ﺧ ۡﻴ‬

Aisha reported: The Messenger of Allah (‫ )ﷺ‬would seek spiritual retreat in the
mosque during the last ten nights of Ramadan and he would say:
“Search for the Night of Decree during the last ten nights of Ramadan.”

As we are approaching the last 10 days of Ramadan, we find many

people getting confused on how to benefit from it.

I present this small work as a gift so that every single Muslim can
benefit during the last 10 days of Ramadan.

I ask Allah al-Karim to make this sincere for His sake and to accept it
from me and you, as well as all of my actions and yours.

Surely, He is the One who answers the supplications.

all things in mercy and
knowledge, so forgive those
subHaanaka allaahumma who repent and follow
Your Way, and save them from
wabiHamdika, ash-hadu al-laa the torment of the
blazing Fire! ”

Allaahumma Tah-hirnee mina thunoobi wal-kha
thawbul-
Allaahumma naqqinee minha kamaa yunaqqa

wal-baradi wal-maa-il-baarid.

Allaahumma anta rabbee wa-ana ‘abduka, DHalamtu
nafsee wa-‘taraftu bithanbee, yaa rabbi faghfir lee
thanbee innaka anta rabbee innahu laa yaghfiru

“O Allah, You are my Lord and I am Your slave. I have oppressed
myself and I acknowledge my sin O Lord so forgive me my sins,
verily You are my Lord, verily no one forgives sins except You.”

Allaahumma innee as-aluka yaa All
aahu al-aHadu Samadul-lathee, lam
lam yoolad, wa lam yakul lahu kufuw yalid wa
an aHad, an taghfira lee thunoobee
innaka
antal-Ghafoorur raheem.
"O Allah, I ask you, O Allah, the One,
the eternally besought of all, He beg
begotten, and there is none compar etteth not, nor was He
able unto Him, that you may forgive

call of one (Muhammad SAW) calling
your Lord,’ and we have believed. Our to Faith: ‘Believe in
Lord! Forgive us our sins and expiate

َ ‫ﺗُﺤَ ﱢﻤﻠۡﻨَﺎ َﻣﺎ َﻻ َﻃ‬
(٢٨٦) ‫ﻳﻦ‬ َ ِ ‫ﺖ َﻣ ۡﻮﻟَ ٰ ﻨَﺎ َﻓﺎ ْﻧ ُﺼ ۡﺮﻧَﺎ ﻋَ َﲆ ٱﻟۡ َﻘ ۡﻮمِ اﻟۡ َ ٰـﻔِ ﺮ‬ َ ‫أ َ ْﻧ‬

aw akhta-na, rabbana wala
tahmil ‘alayna isran kama hamaltahu
‘ala latheena min qablina,
rabbana wala tuhammilna ma la taq
ata lana bihi wa‘fu ‘anna waghfir
lana warhamna, anta mawlana faonsu
rna ‘alal qawmil kafireen
"Our Lord! Punish us not if we
forget or fall into error, our Lor
burden like that which You d! Lay not on us a
did lay on those before us (Je
Lord! Put not on us a burden ws an d Christians); our
greater than we have strength
and grant us Forgiveness. Ha to bear. Pardon us
ve mercy on us. You are our

Allaahumma ghfir lee khaTee-atee wa jahlee wa israafee fee amree wa
maa anta a‘lamu bihee minnee, Allaahumma ghfir lee jiddee wa hazlee
wa khaTa-ee wa 'amdee wa kullu thaalika ‘indee. Allaahumma ghfir
lee maa qaddamtu wa maa akh-khartu wa maa asrartu wa maa a‘lantu
wa maa anta a‘lamu bihee minnee. Antal-muqaddimu wa antal-
mu'akhkhiru wa anta ‘alaa kulli shay-in qadeer.
‘’ O Allah, forgive me for my sin. My ignorance and my transgression (in keeping
my duty to You), and whatever You know about me better than I do. O Allah,
forgive me for sins committed in earnest and in jest, by mistake and deliberately,
and I have done all of that. O Allah, forgive me for what I have done in the past
and what I will do in the future, what I have done in secret and what I have done
openly, and whatever You know about me better than I do. You are the One Who
raises and lowers people’s status (for You are the One Who brings (some people)
forward and puts (others) back), and You are Able to do all things.”

‫ أَﻧَﺎ‬،‫ﻚ‬ َ ‫ﺲ ِإﻟَ ْﻴ‬ َ ‫اﻟﺸﺮﱡ ﻟَ ْﻴ‬
‫ َو ﱠ‬،‫ﻚ‬ َ ‫اﻟﺨَ ْﻴﺮُ ُﻛﻠﱡ ُﻪ ﻓِﻲ ﻳَ َﺪ ْﻳ‬ ْ ‫ َو‬،‫ﻚ‬ َ ‫ﺳ ْﻌ َﺪ ْﻳ‬ َ ‫ﻚ َو‬ َ ‫ﻟَ ﱠﺒ ْﻴ‬
َ ‫ﻮب ِإﻟَ ْﻴ‬ َ َ ‫ أَﺳﺘ َْﻐﻔِ ﺮ‬،‫ﺖ‬
‫ﻚ‬ ُ ُ‫ك َوأﺗ‬ ُ ْ َ ‫ﺖ َوﺗَ َﻌﺎﻟَ ْﻴ‬ َ ‫ ﺗَ َﺒﺎ َر ْﻛ‬،‫ﻚ‬ َ ‫ﻚ َو ِإﻟَ ْﻴ‬ َ ِ‫ﺑ‬
Wajjahtu wajhiya lillathee faTaras-samawaati wal-ardha Hane
efan wamaa
ana minal-mushrikeen, inna Salaatee wanusukee wamaHya
aya
wamamaatee lillaahi rabbil-‘aalameen, laa shareeka lahu wabi
thaalika
umirtu wa-ana minal-muslimeen. Allaahumma antal-maliku
la ilaaha illaa
ant. Anta rabbee wa-ana ‘abduka, DHalamtu nafsee wa‘taraftu
bithanbee
faghfir lee thunoobee jamee‘an innahu laa yaghfiruth-thunooba
illaa ant.
Wahdinee li-aHsanil-akhlaaqi laa yahdee li-aHsanihaa illaa

‘annee sayyi-aha laa yaSrifu ‘annee sayyi-aha illaa ant, labb
ayka wa
sa‘dayka, walkhayru kulluhu fee yadayk, wash-sharru laysa
ilayk, ana bika
wa-ilayka, tabaarakta wata‘alayt, astaghfiruka wa-atoobu ilayk
.
“I have turned my face sincerely towards He who has broug
ht forth the heavens and the
earth and I am not of those who associate (others with Allah)
. Indeed my prayer, my
sacrifice, my life and my death are for Allah, Lord of the world
s, no partner has He, with
this I am commanded and I am of the Muslims. O Allah, You
are the Sovereign, none
has the right to be worshipped except You. You are my Lord
and I am Your servant, I
have wronged my own soul and have acknowledged my
sin, so forgive me all my sins for
no one forgives sins except You. Guide me to the best of chara
cters for none can guide
to it other than You, and deliver me from the worst of chara
cters for none can deliver
me from it other than You. Here I am, in answer to Your call,
happy to serve You. All
good is within Your hands and evil does not stem from You.
I exist by Your will and will
return to You Blessed and High are You, I seek Your forgiv
eness and repent unto You. »

Be confident that Allah (‫ )ﷻ‬will reply to your duaa
Insist by repeating your duaa 3 times
Do not exaggerate in describing what you want

Allah (‫ )ﷻ‬according to the thing you want from Allah (‫)ﷻ‬.
You want sustenance? Ask Ar-Razzaq (The Great Provider)
You want mercy? Ask Ar-Rahman (The Extremely Merciful)
You want forgiveness? Ask Al Ghafoor (The One Who
Forgives Extensively), Al Ghaffaar (The Oft-Forgiving)
You want protection? Ask Al Haafidh (The Protector)
You want guidance? Ask Al Haadi (The Guide)
and so on...
